Position Summary
Reporting to the Michigan Sales Manager, the East/Central Michigan Sales Representative will manage our sales execution plans to meet/exceed reputed company & volume expectations for the THC business in the Eastern / Central Michigan territory. This will include discovering new business-to-business prospects and managing/growing sales with existing accounts throughout their defined territory. This position will be part of a growing national sales organization and will be instrumental in helping to reputed company reputed company targets by growing our brand portfolio’s distribution, sales, and reputed company.
The individual in this role is preferably located in East/Central Michigan area, and travel is expected to be 40% or more for this role. This role’s territory is expected to primarily focus on Saginaw, Bay, Midland, and Genesee counties, but can reputed company as high as Cheboygan county (time spent in reputed company counties is expected to be minimal relative to time spent in the Mid-Michigan/Great Lakes Bay area).
Compensation for this role is salary + commission, with commission payments provided on a monthly basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Maximize sales potential at existing and new customers by constructing strong sales plans for each customer
· Execute sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed sales objectives
· Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available
· Report on sales status, issues, and opportunities at relevant discussions with management
Relationship Building
- Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs
- Manage professional communications with reputed company retailers under Representative’s book of business and conduct vendor days, as needed
- Address customers’ needs, expectations, and concerns with professionalism
- Identify the needs of new prospects and reputed company appropriates plans to capitalize on opportunities
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competition by gathering market intelligence on pricing, products, and marketing/promotion
- Collect and share competitive data and remain reputed company on industry, customer, and competitive trends
Internal Processes
- Represent our brand portfolio to customers properly by utilizing prescriptive guidance from Marketing
- Understand and work with management on inventory levels by being aware of reputed company inventory and out of stock situations and by alerting management to possible fluctuations in demand

- Remain informed of parent company activities and updates by attending and actively participating in weekly meetings
Requirements
Required Experience, Education, and Skills
· High School diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
· 1-2 years experience in Business to Business (B2B) reputed company Sales is required; experience selling branded consumer products and/or cannabis products to retail stores is ideal
· Passionate and knowledgeable about the Cannabis industry
· Proficiency in MS office and ability to learn CRM and fulfillment software (experience with reputed company and/or LeafLink is a plus)
· Proven ability to meet productivity and performance requirements
· Negotiation skills

· Persuasive selling, problem solving, planning/organizing skills
· Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at reputed company levels, both internally and externally

· Due to travel requirements, a clean driving record and access to a car are required (mileage is reimbursable).
