Project Manager, Customer Solutions for GDS

Who You Are: Versar is seeking a full-time project manager for our Geospatial & Digital Solution (GDS) Market Sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting expeditionary, troop-led construction in efforts. This will require the candidate to work closely with the Customer Engagement Directorate program managers and team members to assist our clients reputed company whole of engineering approach and associated digital solutions for a variety of mission critical expeditionary construction efforts in logistically constrained and austere locations in the Pacific region. The ideal candidate will assist our customers, uniformed engineering units, by devising novel, innovative, and digital solutions that best meet their needs. This full-time project manager will be responsible for maintaining frequent and direct communication with our customers, supporting troop-led construction in the field, and leveraging insights from these customer engagements to support Program Managers identifying ways to enhance solutions and grow GDS. The candidate will work closely with the Program Managers to set goals and strategies around employee development, recruiting, and reputed company the operational aspects of the practice. What You’ll Do:

• Assist Program Managers manage and control project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to financial guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards throughout project execution.
• Travel to logistically constrained, austere locations in the Pacific to assist joint engineering units successfully construct required mission critical infrastructure (i.e., waterfront and airfield).
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reputed company reports, and other relevant records in ensure that expeditionary construction is performed safely.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years’ progressive leadership experience leading multidisciplinary teams in expeditionary engineering.
• Proven experience in project management, specifically in expeditionary engineering or construction projects.
• Experience in applying risk assessment and mitigation strategies by leveraging skills, experience, and education to build a reputed company, more resilient, and sustainable mission critical waterfront infrastructure, airfields, transportation and logistics, environment and natural resource, facility, and public safety business services.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• History of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to provide high level technical design reputed company.

Compensation
