- Providing analytical chemistry technology research and problem-solving for reputed company corporate research laboratories and divisions
- Developing and implementing GPC/chromatography technology and test methods for characterization of reputed company materials and products
- Designing chromatography experiments, conducting analytical measurements, analyzing data, and writing technical reports to document and communicate results
- Partnering with corporate research laboratories and greater technical community on new technology and new product development
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Two (2) years of experience with material characterization using gel permeation chromatography (GPC), liquid chromatography (LC) and/or gas chromatography (GC) techniques in a private, public, government or military environment
- PhD degree or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or reputed company discipline from an accredited institution
- Four (4) years of experience with materials characterization using GPC/chromatography techniques in a private, public, university, government or military environment
- Skilled in designing chromatography experiments, conducting analytical measurements, analyzing and documenting data
- Experience with characterization of polymeric materials
- Experience with analytical data science and automation, including Python programming, SQL databases, GUI development and Cloud applications.
