Responsibilities • Process and audit payroll transactions submitted to NYS agencies. , • Review and independently audit payroll transactions based on laws, regulations, and business rules. , • Audit and enter salary refunds, retirement system enrollments, and involuntary deduction orders into the payroll system. , • Process and verify accuracy of tax refunds and retirement contributions. , • Prepare salary exchange schedules and maintain budget certificates for salary transactions. , • Coordinate the collection and distribution of transaction correction sheets and assist in analyzing agency submission errors. , • Provide basic salary information and research salary history records for other agencies. , • Assist with training presentations and provide information about common agency submission errors.
