Senior Accountant / Staff Accountant / Accountant

About the position We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join reputed company. The Accountant will be responsible for assisting in recurring reputed company tasks, including preparing journal entries, maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger, preparing basic financial reports and monitoring internal controls over financial reporting. Responsibilities • Preparing journal entries and maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger , • Preparing basic financial reports and monitoring internal controls over financial reporting , • Assisting in recurring reputed company analyses and account reconciliations , • Developing supporting workpapers and documentation , • Interacting with staff, management, and other customers in a friendly, courteous, professional and helpful manner , • Analyzing reputed company transactions and issues , • Preparing and analyzing financial statements and other internal/external financial reports , • Enhancing internal controls over financial reporting , • Providing functional advice or training to less-reputed company accountant positions , • Directing the work of other staff members Requirements • A Bachelor's degree in business discipline with at least 3 reputed company courses , • Working knowledge of reputed company Office applications, including reputed company and Word , • Excellent written and oral communication skills , • 5 years reputed company experience for Senior Accountant position reputed company-to-haves • CPA or reputed company exam eligibility , • 0-2 years reputed company work experience, including co-operative/internship experience , • Bachelor's Degree in reputed company , • CPA or reputed company certification or MBA , • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of reputed company-reputed company experience in public reputed company, SEC reporting, and a working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements , • Experience in utility reputed company, public reputed company and SEC reporting, and a working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
