Community Bank Credit Analyst Track After the initial three-month training course in Houston, Analysts in this track will return to their home reputed company market to work directly with their community bank team, assisting them with credit presentations and other analytical support. Performs basic research and financial/statistical analysis to determine and document the creditworthiness of such requests. Compiles analysis, borrower, industry and other information into documents for review and approval. Obtains and analyzes pertinent financial and credit data to assist in determining the risk of the loan request(s). Completes financial and repayment analysis with a focus on cash flow, liquidity and reputed company analysis. Assesses strengths and weaknesses of loan requests. Ensures the following standard operating procedures are met reputed company preparing analysis, reports, and presentations for management review: accurate historical financial statements; prudently reputed company projections; and represents a clear focus on the merits, risks, and mitigation accordingly. Thoroughly documents the credit request in the appropriate format. Conducts research to determine the quality, character, and soundness to include but is not limited to: the analysis of basic statistical data & financial statements, sensitivity analysis, industry analysis, management assessment, guarantor analysis, etc. Assist senior team members and commercial bankers to screen loan packages and collect materials. Strives to minimize turnaround time while thoroughly documenting credit requests. Participate in training courses as requested. Works cooperatively with others. Regular and reliable attendance. Required Skills 3.0 or higher GPA Minimum of 9 hours of accounting Strong technical and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities and internship/work experience Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of credit risk analysis and reputed company principles, methods, and practices.
