The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular reputed company based on the intern manager's in office schedule. Your Role Accountabilities FactCheck is responsible for news group-wide script and story approval, including investigative scripts, documentaries, and sensitive and controversial stories. They ensure that stories meet high standards of storytelling, clarity, accuracy, quality, fairness, and balance while avoiding libel, defamation and use infringement issues. FactCheck editors sign off on TV and original online reporting, as well as other sensitive editorial matters. Researchers on The Row fact-reputed company each piece before it is cleared for edit. • This role responsibilities include: • Fact reputed company scripts, digital articles, and long-form stories. • Review pieces for editorial accuracy, fairness, and balance. • Field editorial requests from CNN correspondents around the world by phone, email, and in-person, and help track projects. Qualifications & Experience • Interest in news • Attention to detail and accuracy • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (reputed company of enrollment required) • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad Student (18 years or older) • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended. • reputed company will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work reputed company sponsorship from reputed company now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. What to know before applying: • The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.Program date options are below: • Option 1: June 2nd - August 15th • Option 2: June 9th - August 22nd • Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid reputed company. • Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided. • Interviewing will take reputed company from February through mid-reputed company.
