Position Summary

arenaflex is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Remote Sales Analytics & Data Intelligence Specialist to join our expanding Investigation Group. This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while engaging in challenging, high-impact projects that directly influence business strategy and revenue performance. Reporting to senior leadership within the sales analytics function, you will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, analyzing, and presenting data that supports our sales teams and informs critical business decisions. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, technically capable, and committed to delivering high-quality work that empowers account managers and drives commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Investigation Group, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Data Collection & Aggregation: Gather data from a wide range of sources, including internal account managers, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce, and arenaflex proprietary databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the process.
  • Data Validation & Integrity: Research, verify, and audit third-party data sources to confirm integrity, consistency, and reliability. Identify discrepancies and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve data quality issues promptly.
  • Data Cleaning & Transformation: Clean, format, and transform raw datasets into structured, system-compatible formats that enable seamless analysis and reporting.
  • Account Manager Support: Respond to data requests, meeting invitations, and analytical needs from account managers, providing timely and accurate support that enables them to make informed decisions for their clients.
  • CRM Management: Utilize Salesforce and related tools to update account details, upload new data, manage tasks and projects, and maintain accurate records across the sales pipeline.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Participate in special projects, exploratory research, and ad hoc analytical requests as needed, contributing to a variety of business initiatives across departments.
  • Custom Reporting & Recommendations: Develop customized reports and provide data-backed recommendations that support ongoing business decisions, strategic initiatives, and revenue-driving campaigns.
  • Presentation Development: Create polished, executive-ready presentations that translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights suitable for all levels of management, from frontline supervisors to senior executives.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales analytics, data entry, business intelligence, or a related analytical role is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas), and data visualization tools is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
  • Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving as a collaborative member of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

While not required, the following skills and experiences will set exceptional candidates apart:

  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis and manipulation tools.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Understanding of sales pipelines, account management workflows, and B2B sales cycles.
  • Exposure to marketing analytics, customer segmentation, or revenue forecasting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Capacity to learn new systems and tools quickly, with a continuous improvement mindset.
