Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk I/II, you'll be responsible for:

  • Sifting through data to identify pertinent information and ensuring its accuracy
  • Fixing errors and organizing data to facilitate quick and precise capture
  • Producing accurate spreadsheets and reports to support business decisions
  • Entering and updating data in relevant databases to ensure up-to-date information
  • Conducting regular backups to prevent data loss and ensuring data integrity
  • Alerting relevant parties to any errors or discrepancies
  • Maintaining physical copies of documents for easy retrieval
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience in data entry or a similar field
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and staff
  • The ability to focus for extended periods of time while working accurately and efficiently
  • Touch typing skills to ensure fast and accurate data entry
