Job Summary

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within our Quality Control division. You'll be responsible for analyzing data to identify trends and performance metrics, and using this information to develop and implement process improvements that align with our organization's objectives. Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
  • Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
  • Assisting in exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
  • Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
  • Helping to create and disseminate specific questions to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
  • Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
  • Performing other work duties as directed by Group Leader.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
  • Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
  • Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications.
  • Past internship, capstone project, or research coursework experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment.
  • Ability to focus on responsibilities diligently and be a self-motivated individual.
  • Past internship experience in a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
