Empire Life is looking to hire a Risk Analyst to join their Risk Management team. The role involves supporting risk management initiatives, coordinating elements of the reputed company risk management program, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support risk management initiatives
  • Coordinate major elements of the reputed company risk management program including risk identification and assessment procedures
  • Monitor internal compliance
  • Recommend and action changes

  • Research and analyze risk management issues

  • Provide guidance on methods and solutions
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to enhance the risk management program

Skills

  • 1 to 2 years risk assessment based work experience reputed company the Financial Service industry (audit, actuarial, reputed company, compliance, operations)
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple initiatives and work with relevant business stakeholders
  • Active listener / excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong self-initiative with ability to take ownership of challenges and take appropriate action
  • Creative problem solver
  • Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database software and Power BI
  • Completion of a university degree in a program such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or Economics
  • Commitment to continue professional development to support career progression and role competency
