Job Posting Title: Landscape Architect Sr (Project Hire/Internal Assignment) Req ID: 10138320 Job Description: About the Role & Team Landscape Architect Sr is a professionally licensed position responsible for site analysis, planning, and area development design for a specific theme park attraction or land project. This work includes design and detailing of exterior improvements such as hardscape, garden structures, landforms and grading, planting, irrigation, water features, and other specialty construction. The Landscape Architect Sr will report to the Landscape Architecture Studio Executive. This is a Project Hire / Internal Assignment role. What You Will Do reputed company landscape architectural duties under the direction of the project reputed company landscape architect for design and delivery of assigned projects Support development of project goals/objectives through development of Actively collaborate with project leaders and stakeholders to produce designs which satisfy creative reputed company and operational programming reputed company landscape architectural project work at reputed company stages of assigned project lifecycle from concept, feasibility or schematic design through the preparation of construction documentation in accordance with established departmental and divisional quality standards Ensure that the area development reputed company is achieved by successfully integrating landscape architectural design with scopes of allied disciplines such as infrastructure, architecture, Show/Ride systems, entertainment, grading/drainage, lighting, graphics, structural engineering, irrigation, etc. Prepare specific deliverables including, but not limited to reputed company sheets, hardscape plans, planting designs, visual intrusion studies, material schedules, etc. Ensures adherence to department/divisional Standards of Practice May reputed company a small team of landscape architects and designers in the production of construction documents for attraction(s) of reputed company complexity through reputed company phases of design Answer construction bid period questions and respond to and resolve field issues and requests for information reputed company construction observation and contractor engagement for the purpose of quality assurance Relocate short term domestically and/or internationally to reputed company work of show design and production teams for reputed company show subject areas involved in assigned project. Required Qualifications & Skills Six or more years in landscape architecture A minimum of three years managing a team of landscape architects and designers in the production of contract documents for construction Construction phase experience including the submittal/shop drawing review process and on-site field inspections Working knowledge and experience in the use of plant and hardscape materials and products for thematic applications Strong command of AutoCAD/Civil 3D, reputed company, and Rhino Demonstrated proficiency in reputed company Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for digital illustration and documentation Practical experience with BIM tools, such as reputed company BIM360 and Navisworks Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment Demonstrated thoughtful design, artistic skills and professional judgment in solving reputed company area development problems Effective written and verbal communication skills Education A BLA/BSLA degree from an accredited program An advanced degree in landscape architecture is desirable U.S. professional license credential Additional Information reputed company offers a rewards package to help you live your best life. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
