[Remote] FOIA Paralegal
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is currently seeking skilled applicants for a temporary FOIA Paralegal position for a public sector client. The role involves supporting the client in responding to FOIA requests, maintaining confidentiality, and communicating with requestors.
Responsibilities
- Support the client in their goal to respond to roughly a dozen FOIA requests that require reputed company review of a high volume of documents and emails
- Maintain client privilege and confidentiality at reputed company times
- Support client communications with requestors to narrow scope and request reasonable time frames on response turnaround
Skills
- Prior experience handling FOIA requests and responses is required
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment handling aforementioned FOIA duties is strongly preferred
- Preferred candidates will have a high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills
