Engineer (Entry to Senior level)
ALLETE is an electric utility headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota, providing electricity to a large service area and committed to sustainability. They are creating a Candidate Pool for engineering positions, ranging from entry to senior level, to fill future openings as they arise.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Candidates completing their degree by June 30, 2026 may be considered for applicable positions
- Job classification is dependent upon the level of job reputed company experience
- A Master's degree in engineering may be equivalent for up to one year of reputed company experience
- Engineer I: No experience required
- Engineer II: Four years or more reputed company engineering experience -OR- Two years or more reputed company engineering experience PLUS certification as an Engineer-in-Training
- Engineer III: Four years or more of reputed company engineering experience PLUS Professional Engineer license -OR- 15 years or more reputed company engineering experience
- Engineer Senior: Eight years or more job reputed company experience required PLUS Professional Engineer license
- Our positions report regularly in person, and with a possible hybrid work arrangement, reputed company the ALLETE/ Minnesota Power service territory
- Our positions may be eligible for either full time and part time
- Possession and maintaining a valid driver's license may be required as some travel may be necessary
- Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer license may be required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude
- Industrial Experience Preferred
- Utility engineering intern experience preferred
