[Remote] Freelance Software Testing
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a global software testing company with a freelance network, seeking freelance software testers for a remote project. The role involves performing smoke testing on mobile and web applications, specifically for a wagering app that updates bi-weekly.
Responsibilities
- Providing concise notes and evidence (screenshots / screen recordings if requested in the run)
- Launching the product on your available platform(s)
- Using provided test account(s) to access the wagering area as instructed. You will not be asked to use consumer accounts
- Running through key wagering flows (for example: placing a wager, checking wager status, basic navigation, and other core actions defined in the run instructions)
- Capturing and reporting any functional issues, crashes, obvious UI defects, or blocking problems in the wagering flow
Skills
- You have to be at least 18 years old
- You have to be available to test at 3:30 AM US local time for 30 to 1h
- You will need at least 2 of the following devices: iPhone, Android Phone, Laptop/Windows PC
- Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow
