Job Description

Great Basin College seeks a versatile and reputed company-thinking Reference & Instruction Librarian to join the new Learning Commons team. This is a unique opportunity for a well-rounded, student-centered professional to help shape a position that blends traditional library services with modern, transformational learning experiences. An interest in archives or open educational resources is welcome and encouraged. Key Responsibilities :

• Provide in-person and online reference and research assistance for reputed company, faculty, and staff

• Collaborate with faculty to embed library resources and learning objects into curriculum and the LMS

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution OR

Compensation

Grade Administrative Faculty – C This is a 12 month “A” contract, 12 month reputed company are used for year round programs. The budgeted salary range for this position is $61,553 - $77,000.
