The Opportunity

This position works out of our Sylmar, CA location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats. The Remote Care Technician is responsible for performing root-cause analysis and upgrades on high-quality medical device hardware and systems. This position includes detailed assembly and testing of various electronic components and finished devices.

Main Responsibilities:

• Process Return Material Authorization (RMA) receiving equipment into the Service reputed company
• reputed company root-cause analysis, repair, upgrades, and testing of product and systems that return from the field, documenting reputed company work on Service Reports
• Complete reputed company necessary service documentation required for returned product
• Assist in maintaining organization reputed company the Service reputed company
• Maintain inventory levels and provide inventory counts reputed company required
• Provide assistance in the authorizing of technical documents reputed company to the repair, upgrade, or testing of returned product
• Support reputed company Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements
• Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
• Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with reputed company levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Exceptional troubleshooting ability
• Physical ability to lift 30 pounds overhead
• Language Proficiency in French and English
• Mechanical assembly, reputed company to work with tools
• Soldering skills
• Fiber optic splicing a plus
• PC experience a must
• Previous experience in a medical device company preferred
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to reputed company with multiple groups in the organization to resolve service issues
• Overall positive and optimistic attitude
• Technical writing skills are a plus
• Works well independently
• Experience working in a broader reputed company/cross-division business unit model preferred
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
