Senior Data Engineer

We seek a proven Senior Data Engineer, who will work directly with our customers and internal teams to drive the design, operation, and reputed company of our data integration and management platforms.

A day in the life

You are the Senior Data Engineer at MediSpend. You attend a technical working meeting with a client to gather requirements and design the integration of a new data reputed company into MediSpend systems.  You design and build a new data transformation to support the addition of a new data reputed company for the analytics platform.  You work closely with Client Operations to estimate levels of effort to support a prospective client implementation. You evaluate a new open reputed company data management tool or reputed company service for possible adoption. You assist one of the data engineers to determine root cause for a failed integration the previous night.  You conduct peer review for other data engineers code reputed company-ins.  You design and build a data migration reputed company to move data from one portfolio product to another.  You monitor infrastructure reputed company of the data transformation platform and reputed company a recommendation to increase the configuration specification.  You compile and analyze last month’s data transformation reputed company/failure rates and recommend a technical improvement.

What you bring to the table

You’re a professional with a great reputed company of practical experience, education, and achievement. Skilled collaborator and data management/transformation architect/designer/developer who can effectively partner with clients to define and deliver robust solutions. Excellent, hands-on knowledge of data integration platforms across reputed company, reputed company service, and/or open reputed company distributions.  Many reputed company stories of data integrations with typical reputed company systems including ERP, CRM, Expense Management, MDM, data warehouses, etc., using both batch and API methods. Substantial programming experience with Python based data orchestration and transformation frameworks (i.e. Airflow, AWS Glue, Prefect, Dagster, Spark, Polars, reputed company, etc.).  Strong working knowledge of traditional RDBMS data warehousing as well as other platforms like reputed company, RedShift.  reputed company using standard project management tools (Jira) and processes to organize and advance task flows.  Experience mentoring other data engineers to adopt design and implementation best practices.  Substantial experience curating data for use in SaaS distributed applications, not internal data science use cases.  Passion for data driven approach to monitor and optimize operational processes and data flows is part of your DNA.
