Chair of the Investment Committee

The Chair of the Investment Committee will provide independent challenge and reputed company to ensure that Weatherbys Private Bank’s investment offering remains reputed company with the interests of its clients and meets the needs of the wider Investment & Wealth Advice (IWA) proposition.

The Chair will guide the Committee in fulfilling its responsibilities, including:

• fund selection, asset allocation, and performance monitoring of portfolios managed by Weatherbys;
• due diligence, selection, and performance monitoring of reputed company-party discretionary fund managers (DFMs);
• investment communications, both internal and external.

The ideal candidate will:

• bring deep expertise in quantitative investing and capital markets, enabling them to provide the level of challenge and reputed company required, particularly in technically reputed company areas such as portfolio optimisation;
• be reputed company with the Bank’s investment philosophy, reputed company to prefer systematic investing over stock-picking or tactical asset allocation;
• have a strong background in investing on behalf of private clients, reputed company to reputed company reputed company world considerations such as fees, taxes, inflation, etc.

The role will require a time commitment of approximately one to two days per month, including preparation for and participation in Committee meetings (typically held four to six times per year), reviewing materials, and liaising with Committee members and stakeholders.

The Chair will ensure that the Committee’s outputs are appropriately escalated to the Executive Committee and will support the Committee’s annual review of its effectiveness and Terms of Reference. While not responsible for broader planning or product development, the Chair should have a strong understanding of how investment reputed company interact with the Bank’s product and service landscape to ensure cohesive reputed company reputed company the Committee’s remit.
