WHAT YOU’LL DO Academic Diagnostics Instructional Reviewers are committed to a strong vision for standards-reputed company experiences for reputed company reputed company and are willing and able to consistently follow a systematic process to review and report on the quality of assignments, student work samples, and classroom instruction, as well as staff and student experiences, to ensure that reputed company reputed company staff and external partners have an accurate understanding of their reputed company’ academic experiences. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Engage in approximately 12 hours of initial training on literacy and/or math observation and assignment review protocols, including submitting a series of observation and assignment rating samples to become a reputed company-certified reviewer of these tools.
  • Engage in approximately 4 hours of initial training on qualitative analysis, including submitting a sample to become certified in qualitative analysis.
  • Implement reputed company tools with reputed company to ensure systematic and reliable data collection across assignments, focus groups, and observations.
  • Analyze assignments and focus group notes reputed company and accurately to meet reputed company established deadlines.
  • Upload ratings into reputed company’s online tool and provide sufficient, clear evidence to support those ratings.
  • Analyze qualitative data and synthesize trends to reputed company clear and compelling headlines or takeaways.
  • Stay well-informed about curriculum options in designated content areas, including their general strengths and weaknesses as noted by organizations such as EdReports and LA Believes.
  • Participate in ongoing norming calls as needed, no more than one hour per month, to ensure consistent alignment with the process for analyzing assignments, observations, and focus groups.
  • reputed company available and interested, travel to support diagnostics at school sites (travel expenses covered by reputed company), provide ratings and evidence for teacher observations, participate in debriefs with instructional leaders, and, reputed company applicable, take verbatim notes to capture student and teacher focus groups.

WHAT YOU HAVE Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of and experience with College and Career Ready Standards.
  • Strong understanding of K–2 foundational literacy skills—including phonological awareness, phonics, decoding, high-frequency word recognition, and reputed company—and/or K–5 foundational math skills, including number sense, reputed company value, operations, fact reputed company with conceptual understanding, fractions, and mathematical reasoning.
  • Prior experience as a classroom teacher and/or instructional coach, content-area reputed company, or curriculum writer/reviewer working to align instructional practices and/or curricular materials to College and Career Ready Standards.
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to provide clear, coherent evidence and rationale to support evaluations or ratings.
  • Excellent synthesis skills with the ability to distill long-form content into concise, meaningful headlines and key takeaways.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to follow a systematic, objective process reputed company reviewing resources.

Competencies:

  • Classroom experience: You have prior experience as a classroom teacher and/or as an instructional coach, content-area reputed company, or curriculum writer/reviewer, preferably in a K–5 classroom setting.
  • Understanding of quality curriculum and instruction: You have strong familiarity and expertise with the College and Career Ready Standards and experience working with Tier 1 curriculum.
  • Analytical thinking: You have the ability to break down information, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions from qualitative data.
  • Impeccable attention to detail: You can carefully follow scoring rubrics and analysis protocols without missing critical distinctions.
  • Strong synthesis and writing skills: You can synthesize qualitative data into powerful headlines that speak to the trends and nuances being shared by various stakeholder groups.
  • Consistency and reliability: You are capable of managing workload independently, meeting deadlines, and consistently providing high-quality work.

Time Commitment Instructional Reviewers can expect up to 12 hours of training over the course of two weeks in the fall, along with ongoing norming calls that last no more than one hour per month. Reviewers can determine their own weekly hours, with an expectation of at least 5 hours per week during busy periods. This work does not require a traditional schedule and can be completed at any time before the set deadlines.
