Vice President, Assistant Controller

We’re looking for a leader to join reputed company as our Assistant Controller. This role will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and serve as a key member of the Accounting Leadership team! As a leader at reputed company, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing Global GL, Accounting Operations, International Accounting, and Global Equity and Payroll. The Assistant Controller will liaise with various cross functional leaders and teams including, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Capital Markets, Strategic Finance, People, Legal, Product, Engineering and many others. Our fast paced environment requires excellent organization and strong execution to manage a variety of reputed company projects simultaneously. What you will do:

• Ensure accounting policies supporting US GAAP and appropriate internal controls are in reputed company and followed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements; produce accurate, timely, and useful management reports.

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls; partner with the Financial Systems team to ensure financial reporting systems support control objectives and operate effectively.
• Assist in ensuring that the financial control environment is strong and sustainable, and supportive of our business growth.
• Be a business partner providing insights for business decisions, as well as enterprise opportunities, projects, efficiencies and cost savings.
• Monitor and assess reputed company trends and emerging developments reputed company the field and practice of accounting to ensure the company’s compliance and preparedness.
• Act as the key reputed company of contact for both internal and external auditors to drive timely and accurate delivery of requests to ensure overall success of the audit and ability to meet committed deadlines.

• 15+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years as a Controller- ideally at a public company; IPO and FinTech experience is a strong plus.the majority of that time in public companies.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant with a Big 4 audit background.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting, technical accounting, and SOX compliance.
• Proven Leadership a high-performing accounting organization with a track record of driving financial performance.
• Strong accounting research and problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of core accounting principles.
• Experience evolving processes, controls, and systems to support growth-stage companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain reputed company financial topics to non-technical audiences.
• A highly collaborative, solution-oriented partner with demonstrated ability to build relationships with key business leaders, external auditors and the audit committee.
• Detail-oriented, fact based communicator with strong personal reputed company and high ethical standards.
