As a key member of our editorial department, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our editorial process, from manuscript development to production. - Provide administrative support to the Managing Editorial department, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and data entry.
- Set up and maintain title metadata and schedules in reputed company and FileMaker Pro, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate cover approvals, production schedules, on-sale dates, and pricing, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Manage reprint corrections, ensuring accuracy and quality in production.
- Create barcodes, review eBooks for formatting, content accuracy, and overall quality.
- Review contract status, royalty rates, and download files for various divisional needs.
- Participate in weekly production meetings with Editorial, Copyediting, Design, and Production departments.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across various departments.
- Superb organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook.
