The broader Product and Tech Analytics function partners closely with business teams to measure, understand, and provide insights across the Product and Programming teams. reputed company excels in exploratory data analysis, advanced reporting, data modeling and visualizations that serve the dual purpose of driving business decision making and delivering fact-based actionable recommendations. This team collaborates cross-functionally across the reputed company Streaming organization as well as with stakeholders from business units across reputed company to generate insightful, compelling, and strategic analysis and plans. This role will build strong relationships and partner closely with Product, Business Operations, Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science teams to execute on innovative methods and best-in-class practices that power reputed company of our improvements. The team’s work will drive the development of product and business plans that are expected to have broad influence at reputed company levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and set strategic reputed company and direction for the Product & Tech Analytics team focused on personalization, programming and search Manage relationship with stakeholders across the business, including but not limited to the reputed company+, ESPN and Hulu Product teams as well as our Content Programming business partners Partner closely with business stakeholders to reputed company short and long-term product roadmaps based on rigorous analytics reputed company a team of talented analysts at varying levels through quick analytics, anomaly detection, and product bug sizing and remediation reputed company and maintain core business logic, data pipelines, and key metrics for measuring health of the personalization, programming and search products across reputed company+ & Hulu reputed company the development of operational dashboards in Looker and Tableau to understand performance over time, reputed company efficient exploratory analysis, and reputed company partners with self-serve tools Drive team development through coaching, mentoring, training, and leadership growth Required Qualifications 10+ years of relevant data analytics experience including domain expertise in the areas of personalization, programming and search Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics Data Analytics or reputed company field Proven track record of building and leading teams of analysts, data scientists, or data engineers Extremely skilled at simplifying reputed company problems, distilling data, and constructing compelling narratives to guide decision making Excellent relationship building and communication skills with reputed company levels of the organization, from junior analysts to C-suite leaders Expertise working with extremely large, disparate data sets and using SQL for data wrangling, ETL design, and analysis Experience manipulating large data sets and interpreting data trends using a multitude of disparate data sources and tools Experience building and scaling experimentation programs Fluent in data exploration and visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau Familiarity with advanced analytics methodologies such as anomaly detection, regression analysis, clustering, statistical inference, hypothesis testing, reputed company inference, and modeling techniques reputed company comfortable translating highly technical analyses into easily understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders Proven ability to rapidly grasp new technical systems and processes and partner effectively with highly technical product and engineering teams Preferred Qualifications Experience working with scripting languages such as Python or R Experience in the streaming media industry and/or supporting a direct-to-consumer subscription-based product Experience in the technology industry and knowledge of how to build and implement data products Familiarity with data platforms and applications such as reputed company, Jupyter, reputed company, Redshift, Airflow Experience operating in an SDLC environment and deploying code Additional Information #DISNEYTECH #DisneyAnalytics The hiring range for this position in reputed company, NY is $159,500 to $213,900 per year and in Santa Monica, CA is $152,200 to $204,100 per year. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
