CNC Operator I - 3rd shift - Now Hiring

Job Type Full-time Description OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a CNC Operator I who will operate both manual and CNC machines according to program and product specifications to produce small to reputed company sized components as either as a finished product or as part of another larger product to be reputed company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes
  • Positions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices
  • Operates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools
  • Operates lift equipment as needed
  • Uses precision measuring tools as required
  • Ability to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if needed
  • Ability to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as required
  • Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspections
  • Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department reputed company
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
  • Completes reputed company necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheets

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic understanding of machining principles and CNC machine operations
  • Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in CNC machining
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts as required
  • Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
