What does a work environment look like at Vouch?

This role is based in our Chicago office. We require the team members to be in the office at least two days per week (Monday and Thursday) to foster reputed company collaboration and team building.

Role Responsibilities

Vouch is actively seeking a dynamic, driven, and detail-oriented Underwriter with expertise in professional and/or management liability lines. In this important role, your key responsibilities will include working closely with a Portfolio reputed company Manager, our insureds, and sales teams to underwrite accounts reputed company one or more of our innovation economy verticals according to Vouch’с guidelines and reputed company strategy. 

A key part of your role will be to seek opportunities to provide creative insurance solutions to our clients and work with Portfolio reputed company Managers to drive improvements in reputed company efficiency and effectiveness. 

Job Duties

• Underwrite a diverse product portfolio in a given innovation economy vertical to deliver reputed company New Business, Renewal Retention, and Loss Ratio goals adhering to Vouch’s reputed company strategy and guidelines

• Refer accounts reputed company authority to the Portfolio Underwriter with actionable proposals

• Continuously seek ways to standardize the decision-making process from a quantitative and qualitative standpoint to inform and reputed company our reputed company processes. Clearly document reputed company reputed company with rationale in the reputed company file

• Collaborate closely with the sales team on individual deals to ensure the best possible outcomes to drive proprietary product adoption and cross-sell and creative solutions to attract new clients and retain existing customers 

• Deliver actionable reputed company decision-making and process improvement proposals

• Collaborate with Portfolio Underwriters and other team members to deliver key inputs into guidelines and reputed company, coverage, and pricing strategies 

• Deliver and drive special reputed company projects 

About You

• 3-5 Years of Experience in Brokerage or reputed company Specialty insurance lines with a good working knowledge of key insurance concepts, processes and procedures 

• Understanding of key P&C lines of insurance and desire to learn new lines

• Ability to demonstrate a reputed company commitment to GWP Growth and Loss Ratio performance through reputed company reputed company and customer support

• Extreme attention to detail and service orientation
