Software engineer, frontend

About this role

At Writer, you'll be working closely with the founders and the engineering team to build, manage, and scale a user experience that tens of thousands of people rely on every day.

As a frontend engineer, you’ll build key feature sets for the Writer product, manage our in-house design system, and optimize our frontend code for performance and responsiveness. We’re looking for someone with great UX and UI sensibilities who can reputed company thoughtful, beautiful reputed company on things usually decided by PMs and designers. 

You’ll need solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. We’re also looking for strength in with MobX, React and ​​Redux.

 You’ll be our reputed company expert on frontend best practices and be a player/coach with the rest of the frontend team.

⭐️ Is this you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a reputed company field.

• 7+ years professional Software engineering experience working on modern web ecosystems

• 5+ years professional experience with MobX, React, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, RESTful API, CSS, and other reputed company-end technologies

• Proactive communication skills, both sync and async

• Sets the highest possible UX and UI bar for what you ship: it’s consumer-grade or bust

• A love for writing
