Provider Contract Specialist

Position Purpose: The incumbent will be responsible for supporting business people in our local WellCare markets in negotiating reputed company with hospitals, physician groups and other providers to participate in our provider network, including taking a major role in reviewing, analyzing and drafting contract language as part of those negotiations. This role will also support other legal matters reputed company to provider relations, including assisting with disputes, provider manual support, provider communication review and other issues.
- Collaborate with Network representatives and WellCare attorneys in various markets on reputed company aspects of contracting with new and existing providers in networks across several states
- Support strategic positioning for provider contacting, assist in development of contract templates and help identify opportunities for great value-orientation and new payment methodologies
- Contribute to development of alternative networking initiatives and new provider business structures
- Support attorneys and clients on provider relations issues

Candidate Education: Preferred A Bachelor's Degree in a reputed company field Business, Finance or Accounting
Candidate Experience: Required 5+ years of experience in reputed company line provider contracting supporting a health plan, health insurance company or hospital/physician network in either business or legal department
Preferred Other: If a paralegal, certification/degree with contract specialization
This position is 100% remote reputed company the United States. Travel for meetings to Detroit, Michigan office may be required as needed.
Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: reputed company, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-reputed company factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
