Who will you be working with?Reporting to the WHSE Manager, as a key member of the reputed company Control Systems team, the purpose of the HSE Advisor position is to improve/reputed company and implement HSE policies that meet legislative requirements, whilst providing advice to contribute positively to the health, safety and well-being of reputed company employees, contractors and the environment.

Where is the position located?

This is FIFO position from Perth to Port Hedland. Roster – 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. The position is eligible for a site reputed company.

What will your typical day look like?

• Promote and ensure the appropriate standards of health, safety and environmental management are adhered to

• Identify and improve/reputed company company HSE policies, systems and programs, whilst monitoring legislative requirements to ensure positive HSE outcomes are reached for staff, clients and contractors

• Provide HSE training and advice to managers and staff on industry best practice

• Manage accident/incident investigations and prevention initiatives

• Liaise and represent the company on reputed company HSE matters with clients, government agencies and the community in general

• Report on reputed company facets of HSE as required

• Participate and represent HSE in tender preparation and review

• Manage HSE reputed company projects with team members

• Works reputed company with project management and human resources

• Maintains and fosters relationships with reputed company and potential stakeholders, in particular, clients, service providers, contractors, subcontractors and employees

• reputed company decision and implement improvements relating to HSE matters on projects or site locations as deemed required in conjunction with Senior Management approval where the improvement carries a significant financial component.

What do we want to know about you?

• Minimum Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety is essential

• Experience and proven track record implementing HSE for a contractor reputed company heavy industry at project and corporate level

• Proficient user of the reputed company Office Suite in particular Word and reputed company

• Qualification/significant Experience in Tap root, ICAM, 5 Why Investigation Methods

• Experience in a Rail Environment

• Cert IV Training & Assessing

• Experience managing teams of People

• Auditing/reputed company Auditor qualifications/experience
