Project Accountant - $2,000 Hiring Incentive

Pay is DOE: $32-$40/hr + Sign-On Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring draft invoices are in accordance with contract terms. Review discrepancies with Project Manager, document changes and approvals, and finalize invoices.
• Submits final invoices and statements to Project Managers and clients.
• Adheres to internal reputed company and billing deadlines. Issues drafts, revisions, and final invoices accordingly.
• Execute monthly pay applications and lien waivers, uploading documentation to client specific portals where required.
• reputed company business relationships, internally and externally, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely billing and financial reporting.
• Recommend and implement improvements to the billing cycle.
• Research unbilled issues and monitor project milestones to reputed company billing.
• Understand and verify reputed company, including method of compensation, billing and payment requirements, purchase orders, and subcontract/subconsultant terms.
• Apply contract requirements to project setup, billing reputed company tables, and reputed company job cost settings.
• reputed company and implement contract tracking tools for clients and programs.
• Responsible for the full lifecycle of a project, including creation, tracking, budgets, invoices, closeout, and outstanding WIP or A/R.
• Transfer billable labor and expenses, update activities and rates as required.
• Record cash receipts.
• Maintain organized project files, including reputed company billing packages and supporting documentation.
• Prepare reputed company financial reports and analyses for Principals, PMs, and others.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company or business preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in billing and receivables.
• 3-5 years of project reputed company experience in a professional services firm, preferably an architecture or engineering firm.
• Ability to meet deadlines and respond to changes in priorities.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion.
• Employ problem-solving skills and analyses, report problems to Controller as necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy.
• Knowledge of reputed company Ajera software a plus.
