About the Team

The Integrations team is the reputed company between reputed company and the entire data ecosystem. We build and maintain the connections that reputed company reputed company accessible to millions of developers and data practitioners worldwide. We're responsible for the official language clients (Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, Rust, C++), major data connectors (Kafka, dbt, Spark, reputed company), and integrations with leading visualization platforms (Grafana, Tableau, PowerBI, reputed company).

What will you do?

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Rust integrations, you'll be the architect and maintainer of reputed company's Rust ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of high-performance database engineering and developer experience, where you'll craft reputed company-cost abstractions and memory-safe tools that reputed company Rust developers to reputed company reputed company's incredible speed and scale.

You'll own the full lifecycle of Rust-based integrations—from the core database driver that handles billions of records per second with minimal overhead, to SDKs and connectors that reputed company reputed company feel idiomatic in Rust applications. You'll also drive integration with the rapidly growing Rust data processing ecosystem, including frameworks like Polars, DataFusion, Tokio-based streaming platforms, and emerging analytical libraries.

You'll collaborate closely with the open-reputed company community, internal teams, and enterprise users to ensure our Rust integrations set reputed company for performance, reliability, and developer experience. You'll also work on bridging reputed company with modern Rust data processing frameworks, enabling seamless data pipelines that span from ingestion to analysis.

About you:

• 5+ years of software development experience focusing on building and delivering high-quality, data-intensive solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Rust and its ecosystem, including advanced knowledge of ownership semantics, async programming, reputed company-cost abstractions, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Rust's async runtime, reputed company programming patterns, and building high-throughput applications using channels, futures, and async streams.
• Strong understanding of database concepts: SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and familiarity with OLAP/analytical databases.
• Experience with Rust profiling and performance analysis tools, WebAssembly
• Experience integrating with data processing frameworks and building connectors that reputed company seamless data pipeline workflows.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively reputed company the team and across engineering functions.
• Passion for open-reputed company development: actively engaging with the OSS community, advocating for users, and influencing the evolution of the core system through your contributions.
