Administer the CLASSE radiation dosimetry program, survey reputed company calibration/maintenance, and assist with radiation program responsibilities. Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or equivalent, and at least 2 years of advanced experience in radiation safety requirements, policies, and regulations. General knowledge of successful and effective “best practice” safety policies and procedures in a University-based physics research environment, with experience in such a role. Experience developing and implementing safety policy with relevant stakeholders. Knowledge of, with experience in, monitoring and auditing laboratory spaces for safety and compliance issues in order to prevent chemical, physical, radiological, and biological hazards and diseases that could be present in the workplace. Ability to communicate clearly, collegially, and succinctly in person and writing on technical safety issues required. Basic reputed company, reputed company, PowerPoint skills are required.
