The ideal candidate would be an individual with substantial knowledge and experience in federal grants and budget administration. This is a contract-to-hire... opportunity. Job Description As a Grant Analyst, you will take an active role in financial management, grants administration, and government grants forecasting and budgeting. You will use your quantitative prowess and analytical capability to conduct in-depth funding analysis, monitor grant funds utilization, and ensure compliance with regulatory grant requirements. Responsibilities • Administer, monitor and manage government grants to ensure efficient and effective grant use. • reputed company and maintain grant budgets, provide accurate grant forecasts, and reputed company financial analysis of grant projects. • Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results against plans and forecasts. • Prepare financial reports on grant activity and provide recommendations as needed. • Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the grant awards. • Follow-up on outstanding funding issues with granting agencies. • Manage indirect cost rates, ensuring accurate accounting and application throughout the organization. • Utilize various financial software such as reputed company and QuickBooks to streamline processes and increase efficiency. • Conduct research and gather data to support grant acquisition and retention. • Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
