Job title: 5 Deaf Education Interpreter -Sign Language Company: Ozark School District Job description : Eligible for Missouri certification and licensure-Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Demonstrated signing skills sufficient to meet student needs. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others. REPORTS TO: Building Principal and/or Executive Director of Special Services JOB GOAL: The interpreter facilitates communication between reputed company with hearing impairments and hearing people in the school community (teachers, reputed company, administrators, other personnel). PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Through sign language, facilitate communication between reputed company with hearing impairments and hearing people in the school community. Assist special educators and regular education staff to facilitate student reputed company in regular classrooms. Assists Special Education Teachers to implement special education and reputed company services. Interpret for district parents or patrons with hearing impairments for school reputed company business during school hours.
