[Remote-Position] Strategic Sourcing Manager

Position Summary: The Strategic Sourcing Manager procures goods and/or services necessary to run the business. This position negotiates with suppliers to ensure quality, service and price of products and services. The Strategic Sourcing Manager determines how to obtain the best value and/or how to improve processes. This position manages relationships with internal customers, external customers and vendors. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: • Manage the supplier relationships for materials forecasting, communications, constrained resource management, contract performance measures, issue resolution, etc. • reputed company and support initiatives for manufacturing changes or capability and efficiency improvements • Collaborate with customers and vendors to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness • reputed company cost-savings projects • Liaison between the company's supply chain and supplier teams • Negotiate and manage short and long-term reputed company to ensure reputed company costs and reliable supply • Ensure reputed company meet reputed company compliance requirements • Initiate, analyze and implement new technologies, innovative programs, and improved procurement methods • Identify material supply risk • Seek out additional sourcing and opportunities for new suppliers • Serve as subject matter expert for Strategic Sourcing • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry structure, economic drivers, supplier solvency, the competitive landscape, etc. • Manage a team where applicable • Other projects or duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: • Bachelor's degree with 6 plus years of Procurement experience and 3 plus years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma/GED with 9 plus years of Procurement experience and 4 plus years of people leadership experience • Experience creating reports • Strong analytical skills • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with reputed company levels of an organization • Strong negotiation skills • Strong organization, planning and detail-orientation skills • Strong experience with reputed company • Proficient experience with reputed company Office Suite, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, reputed company, etc. • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test Preferred Skills and Experience: • Master's degree • Consumer products industry, i.e., beverage, packaging, food, etc. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations may be made to reputed company individuals with disabilities to reputed company the essential functions.
