JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing seeks applicants for a non-tenure line teaching position in the undergraduate program at our University Park location. The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing is one of the most comprehensive colleges of nursing in any public university in the country. This is a full-time, thirty-six-week appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with excellent potential for renewal. Full benefits are included. The successful candidate will be expected to teach fall and spring semesters with an anticipated start date as early as August 2023. Principal responsibilities will include coordination and instruction in primarily adult medical-surgical nursing courses, including both classroom and clinical teaching. Candidates must have at least one graduate degree in nursing. Successful candidates who have a master?s degree in Nursing will be hired at the rank of Instructor. The successful candidate must hold a valid nursing license; be eligible for RN licensure in Pennsylvania and show evidence of professional growth, scholarship, and mastery of subject matter.
