Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 07:00am u2013 07:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional weekends and overtime.nn*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Groupu2019s Telecommuter Policy.nnPrimary Responsibilities:nn tEnsure quality customer service for internal and external customers with focus on needs identification, problem solving and partnering with billing and eligibility specialistsn tMonitor delegated customer service issues to ensure timely and accurate resolutionn tUse appropriate communication techniques when responding to customers, particularly in stressful situationsn tInform and educate new customers regarding billing/invoicing set up and billing/payment proceduresn tPlace outgoing phone calls to complete follow-up on customer service requests as necessarynnThis role is equally challenging and rewarding. Youu2019ll interact with customers continuously by phone and in writing. Within a high-volume setting, youu2019ll need to develop knowledge of our various products and multiple levels of benefits within each product in order to best assist our providers/customers.nnYouu2019ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.nnRequired Qualifications:nn tHigh School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experiencen t1+ years of current or previous UMR Claims Processing System experience (UMR isu00a0UnitedHealthcaren t4+ years of combined education, work and/or volunteer experiencen tAbility to work any 8-hour shift between the hours ofu00a07:00am u2013 7:00pm CSTn Apply Job!
