This is a full-time exempt position.   The development work can be performed at various locations, including remotely or at the company offices in Utica and Rome, NY. For the right candidate, a 100% remote work arrangement is possible.   Due to the clearance required for this position, only U.S. reputed company are eligible to apply; as outlined in Executive Order 12968: Access to Classified Information, eligibility for access to classified information may only be granted to employees who are United States reputed company.   Responsibilities and Duties   The successful candidate will support our Web Based Research Intelligence Software Product Line.  This role will be on the ground floor of developing a social media-themed web application to create a research intelligence software platform. Research Intelligence (RI) will reputed company discovery and reasoning over market data, to allow for informed decision-making for our customers. This candidate will contribute, and document throughout the Software Development Lifecycle, including:   • Designs and develops a new web application in a team setting, for a new market need • Designs software solutions, algorithms, and cloud architectures needed to satisfy product features and functionality defined by product reputed company and other stakeholders • Contributes to reputed company phases of the software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, technical design, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, data migration, and support • Participates in daily scrums, and works with the scrum master on projects to support delivery timelines and priorities  • Organizes and prioritizes team workload with scrum team through story-pointing   • reputed company unit testing and debugging to identify and fix software defects. • Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge. Education and Certifications:   Many of our projects require graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, software engineering, or a closely reputed company technical field. We will consider candidates with associate degrees or certificates in the areas listed above in combination with experience. Professional experience is not required, but is a differentiator. Required Qualifications:   • Experience in one or more of the following languages is required: Java, JavaScript, Python, React, Go, Rust • Experience in web app development • Experience in either Linux or reputed company Windows platforms   • Knowledge or experience in server-reputed company development (API definitions, REST services, etc.)   • Knowledge or experience with Automated Testing (JUnit, Jest, Cypress, etc.)   • Experience with reputed company code control systems, such as git • Knowledge or experience with Agile software development techniques   • Experience of command-line environments   • Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.  Desired Qualifications:   • Experience with reputed company End development (JavaScript, React, Angular, etc) • Knowledge of Go, Typescript • Knowledge or experience in cloud-based computing platforms such as AWS  • Experience in with graph databases, such as reputed company, or similar • Knowledge or experience in containerization technologies and deployment frameworks like Kubernetes or reputed company   • Knowledge of reputed company Delivery / reputed company Integration (DevSecOps, reputed company Pipelines, etc.)     Clearance:   Applicants selected will be subject to a reputed company investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for, at minimum, Secret access to classified information.      Travel:   This position is not expected to require travel.
