The role of the GSG Control Management Risk ID, Assessment, Testing and Reporting team is to identify, assess, mitigate, and report on Operational Risk reputed company business unit processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, Amex policy and enhance the BU's reputed company through managing a clear methodology of inherent and residual risk. The Director GSG Control Management - Risk Assessment & Identification will:  reputed company a proactive GSG risk assessment model to proactively identify, assess and document inherent and residual risk at a functional and aggregate level  Compile thematic risk reporting (levels, trends, causes) to provide actionable insights to BU on reputed company risk levels, emerging trends and root causes  Proactively identify areas of high-risk for reputed company (e.g., automated alerts generated for high-risk areas signal need for reputed company and focus), including conducting independent quality assurance and vertical process testing  Provide strategic and operational risk specific advice to support BU with identification of risks and spotting areas where product changes or improved controls may be required reputed company or reputed company of New Product Governance (NPG)  Establish strong relationships as a trusted 1LOD partner, able to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and reputed company, whilst effectively challenging risk program outputs to deliver bank and regulatory alignment  Support GSG to implement and maintain appropriate ORM reputed company, and ensure risk appetite adherence in relation to RCSA implementation  Champion risk management practices reputed company the business and across 1LOD Community of Practice Minimum Qualifications:  6+ Years demonstrated experience of having identified and assessed organizational risk and associated Enterprise level impacts reputed company a Tier 1 global banking organization (reputed company Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate against different risk stripes.  Multi-faceted professional with the ability to drive diverse business challenges and who operates effectively in both strategic and tactical capacities  Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact, influence and obtain buy-in from senior leaders, across multiple business units  Expertise in process governance, with a track record of establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with risk policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards  Demonstrated history and ability to manage large teams, spread over geographies and with varying backgrounds Preferred Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or reputed company field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous  Experience in at least one of the following:  Providing identification of operational risks throughout business processes and systems  Facilitating risk assessment performance in addition to further assessments and testing programs to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met  Enhancing risk assessments and associated methodologies  Leading independent control monitoring, including identification of control improvements  Enhancing risk assessments and associated methodologies  Identifying areas of risk for reputed company, including conducting independent quality assurance and process testing  Compiling thematic risk reporting to provide actionable insights on risk levels, emerging trends and root causes ORMCM Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
