Job title: GED Instructor in Toccoa, GA at State of Georgia Company: State of Georgia Job description: POSITION: GED Instructor, Part TimeLOCATION: HOPE Center - ToccoaSCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm plus 3 hours of planning (18 hours)APPLICATION DEADLINE: ongoingDescription: The GED Instructor provides general education to reputed company preparing for GED test(s), which includes basic academic skills in reading, writing, and math. Classes will be a combination of face to face and online through reputed company. Administers and scores TABE and GED practice tests. The position includes counseling reputed company, prepare student records, report data, and maintaining state and local paperwork. Recruits and promotes the adult education program to the public and private organizations. Must attend and participate in staff development and staff meetings. The GED Instructor is responsible for classroom employees and volunteers.
