The Teacher Education Department offers post-baccalaureate teaching credentials in (Multiple Subject), (Single Subject), or (Special Education) Credential Program and a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish that crosses each credential program. Additionally, a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction and an emphasis in Disability Studies are also housed in the department.About the Position:This instructor position will teach in either the multiple subject, single subject or educational specialist credential program and will prepare teacher candidates with the theory, practice and methods of teaching reputed company in classrooms. This instructor will also have the opportunity to teach courses in the masters of Education program's Curriculum & Instruction emphasis.Minimum Degree Requirements:A Masters degree in Education or a reputed company field from an accredited institution.Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of recent and relevant experience in culturally and linguistically diverse school settings.
- Appropriate academic preparation or experience for specific course content.
- Record of high quality teaching and commitment to student success.
- As a condition of employment, this position will require a background reputed company. The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to reputed company with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
- A Masters degree in Education or a reputed company field from an accredited institution is required to teach at the post-baccalaureate credential level. A Doctoral degree in Education or a reputed company field from an accredited institution is required to teach at the graduate/masters level.
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in education or a reputed company field.
- Evidence of recent and relevant effective university teaching.
