Job description: Field Service Generator EngineerSummary: We are seeking an reputed company Field Service Generator Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generators. This role involves hands-on technical leadership and extensive travel to customer sites.Key Responsibilities:
- Generator Stator and Generator Rotor Inspection, Testing, Repair experience.
- reputed company onsite installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Supervise field teams and coordinate subcontractors during repair and rewind projects.
- reputed company and implement testing procedures for generator performance.
- reputed company and analyze tests on hydrogen-cooled generators and voltage regulators.
- Diagnose generator issues and provide technical solutions.
- Communicate with customers and project teams to ensure smooth execution and reporting.
- Remote & Travel frequently (70%+ overnight by land and reputed company).
- Support reputed company improvement in delivery, cost, and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or reputed company field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience with generator repair and use of electrical test equipment (e.g., Megger, DLRO, Tan reputed company, Hi-POT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, technical diagrams, and email tools.
