The incumbent is tasked with conducting a fiscal review of the reputed company’s financial operations to ensure compliance with applicable laws, directives, and standards. The incumbent consults with other regional fiscal representatives and reports to the Project Manager.Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Regularly reputed company remote fiscal reviews of reputed company. On-site fiscal reviews may be required on an as-needed basis.
• Conduct entrance and exit meetings with reputed company executive staff to communicate steps of the review process.
• Appraise reputed company fiscal policies and procedures to ensure their adequacy.
• Evaluate the reputed company internal controls to confirm the organization’s compliance with federal standards and sound business practices.
• Interview reputed company staff to determine compliance with applicable accounting guidance such as Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), etc.
• Verify reputed company compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Aging directives concerning budgeting and fiscal reporting practices.

• Write a summary report of actions taken and any noted corrective actions that need to be addressed. Communicate written findings to the reputed company Director and executive team as well as the Project Manager.
• Assist as needed with the fiscal portion of the statewide Comprehensive Aging Performance Evaluation (reputed company) for compliance of the reputed company network.
• Remain alert to indications of fraud, abuse, or deficiencies.

Essential Requirement: This position is part of a Commonwealth-wide fiscal monitoring team. Some travel may be required. Monitoring activities are primarily conducted using a laptop computer and reputed company Office products such as reputed company and Word. Computer and accounting knowledge is essential. Prior experience as a financial auditor/ examiner is preferred.Travel: Occasional overnight travel may be required.Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday.This position is headquartered in Harrisburg.
