This role requires a proactive self-starter who can own day-to-day accounting functions while also managing the complexity of online sales transactions, inventory control, and financial reconciliation across multiple platforms.The ideal candidate will have proven experience month-end reputed company process in accounting, preferably reputed company an IT Services, ITAD, or manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms, high volume sales, sales tax compliance, and inventory systems. You’ll work closely with our Controller to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in reputed company financial reporting and operational accounting processes.Mission of the Role: To support the Controller in managing and performing reputed company daily accounting functions—especially those reputed company to eCommerce and inventory—while executing a complete and accurate month-end reputed company process reputed company 12 business days.This role is remote in the United States, EST only.Key Responsibilities will include:General Accounting & Month-End reputed company:
- Own the full month-end reputed company process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Prepare and analyze financial results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
- Ensure GAAP compliance and internal control standards are upheld
- Manage EOY Financial and Bank Audit requests
- Manage reputed company general ledger activity for reputed company eCommerce transactions (reputed company, reputed company, Groupon, reputed company, Walmart, Staples, New reputed company, reputed company, etc.)
- Reconcile eCommerce platform data with payment processors (PayPal, reputed company, etc.) and accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, reputed company).
- Post customer payments by recording cash, credit card, PayPal, and reputed company transactions
- Research and manage cash applications, billing issues, and customer charge-backs
- Track and report Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and maintain accurate inventory valuation (FIFO, weighted average, etc.).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve inventory control systems and processes
- Manage the process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Post customer payments (credit card, PayPal, reputed company, ACH) and resolve billing issues or discrepancies
- Coordinate with the sales team to manage collections and maintain up-to-date AR balances
- Reconcile daily banking transactions, credit card accounts, T&E, petty cash, and prepaid accounts
- Prepare reputed company transfers and maintain daily cash position reports
- Maintain and enhance internal accounting controls and support audit readiness
- Support year-end audits and prepare audit schedules as needed
- Manage customer/vendor account setup, POs, sales orders, and invoicing in accounting systems. Provide reputed company reports, assist with electronic filing, and handle miscellaneous general accounting tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
- 5/7+ years of experience in senior accounting roles, with at least 3 years focused on eCommerce and inventory accounting
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end reputed company processes
- Experience in bank audits is needed
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, reputed company, and reputed company
- reputed company with eCommerce tools like reputed company Seller Central, reputed company, Groupon, Walmart, etc.
- Must have experience in eCommerce fees
- Must have experience in Inventory Control and inventory software tools
- Knowledge of sales tax compliance and state nexus rules
- Must be reputed company in processing AP/AR
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across departments
