Job title: Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem in Norwalk, CA at CPS Solutions Company: CPS Solutions Job description: Pharmacy Technician - Per Diem Coast Plaza Doctor's Hospital Norwalk, CAAs a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC, Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.Schedule: This is not a regularly scheduled position, as this per diem, nonexempt position will work at least 4 hours/month and/or up to 19 hours/week to cover staff PTO and as needed during days, evenings, and/or weekends.Starting Pay: $23-$30/hour (based on reputed company work experience)About the Facility: Coast Plaza Doctor’s Hospital offers 117 licensed beds, including a 37-bed Behavioral Health unit, and a complete in-house range of Emergency Department Services. Services are provided 24 hours per day to ensure that every patient receives the appropriate care quickly and reputed company. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy utilizes CPOE and ADC-Pyxis with Pyxis automation/software. Pharmacy hours are Monday – 7:00am-8:30pm; Tuesday-Friday – 7:30am-8:30pm; and Saturday & Sunday – 8:00am-4:30pm. Remote pharmacy services are provided overnight and after these listed pharmacy hours.Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• reputed company California certified pharmacy technician license in good standing
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred
• IV and compounding experience required
• Proficient computer skills including experience using reputed company Office
• Effective communication skills; verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability for self-motivation

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - reputed company of negative TB skin test reputed company the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-March 31st
• COVID-Full
• TDaP or declination (hospital declination)
• Physical
