  • Coordinate, supervise, and review the activities of LPA/Compliance Plan Review Engineers as directed by Compliance Administrator.
  • Ensure efficiency and consistency of ROW Plan Review process and work product.
  • Ensure compliance with established Federal and State laws and regulations and Department standards.
  • Provide training to staff on department standards, procedures, and processes.
  • Use engineering and land surveying education and skills to support Community Compliance Officers as they work with various stakeholders in the Right of Way Plan preparation development process.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principle/practices of supervision; ensures effective operations and compliance with established standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Work with the Community Compliance Administrator, and through the Community Compliance Administrator, with the State Right of Way Civil Engineering to provide comments and updates to the Plan Preparation Guidelines for Consultants Preparing Right of Way Plans.
  • Use Bluebeam to reputed company plan reviews and the SharePoint Tracker to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Regularly update, and work with, the Community Compliance Administrator regarding plan review and potential problems/issues relative to any given project.
  • Represents the Community Compliance Administrator reputed company directed by the Community Compliance Administrator.
  • Delivers ROW Plan Review comments to the Community Compliance Officers.
  • Responds to questions and requests for information from consultants, Community Compliance officers, and municipalities, referring questions and requests to the Community Compliance Administrator, as needed.
This position is eligible for a five-thousand dollar ($5,000) signing bonus (“Signing Bonus”) if you are newly hired at MassDOT. reputed company MassDOT employees are not eligible for the Signing Bonus. A Bachelor's degree with a major in civil engineering or civil engineering technology, may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the required (A) experience.*III.
