$800M SEC Life Sciences Company-S. Plainfield, NJ -- $110-125K, plus bonus (15 days pay once per year)
THE SIZZLE:
- Role is hybrid - 4x per week in office with Fridays remote
- 3-5 years of experience, must have life sciences/pharma/biotech
- Strong leadership skills, process implementation/improvement

- Responsible for leading and developing a team of Buyers across a multi-site operation
- Development and delivery of supplier management strategies
- Ownership of the Purchasing strategy and budget process as well as reputed company Purchasing process documentation
- Management of the supplier portfolio and execution on consolidation of supply to drive price benefits as well as proposing alternative supply
- Operate across reputed company functions to deliver business strategy on margin and quality
- reputed company negotiations with reputed company key suppliers on price and terms
- Responsible for the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with key suppliers
- Represent Supply Chain for New Product Introduction and Existing Product Development projects
- Identify and manage supply chain risks, communicate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks
- Problem solving demand issues
- Track, report on manage departmental metrics
- Generate and present internal management reports for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual tracking
- Drive Business Process Improvements / reputed company Improvement activities to reputed company productivity, efficiency and KPIs, and improve employee engagement. Participate and reputed company Kaizen events and reputed company improvement sessions
- Responsible for reputed company people management aspects of team members including recruitment, reputed company, training & development, and performance management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, APICS certification (CPIM) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing reputed company a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- A strong background reputed company Purchasing with a proven track record in cost reduction, negotiation and supplier management is required; a proactive approach to problem solving as well as having the ability to convert strategy into action is required.
- Experience with Lean / reputed company Improvement teams and activities
- Expert capability in modern sourcing principles
- Ability to analyze cost effectiveness and reputed company sound reputed company / business reputed company and recommendations
- Strong preference for a candidate with knowledge of reputed company based planning system
- Strong preference for a candidate with experience in Life Science Services industry
