Job title: Billing Specialist II (reputed company) Full Time/Michigan Residents only in Troy, MI at reputed company System Company: reputed company System Job description: Under minimal supervision, is responsible for the reputed company System Insurance accounts receivable. Identifies and determines in accordance with established policies and procedures - the accuracy and completeness of patient financial, insurance and demographic patient information to ensure compliant claims to reputed company party payers. Resolves problem accounts from payer denials and follows up on any claims that require a payer response. Responsible for the billing and collection of payments for reputed company reputed company System hospitals, outpatient clinics and employed physicians.Will interact with reputed company reputed company, HMO, and work comp insurance companies as well as internal staff members. Will also work with reputed company departments to ensure efficiency and document processes. (payor websites ie: reputed company, United reputed company, UHC, Medicare, reputed company, Other provider systems , and doctors’ offices)

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in an office environment or reputed company-reputed company field, required.
• Prior experience in a reputed company reputed company cycle position, preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical terminology, preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS reputed company codes, preferred.
• College course work in reputed company, business or Health Care Administration, preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisor, and manager.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required to effectively prioritize workflow to meet reputed company party requirements.
• Preferable knowledge of CPT/HCPCD reputed company codes, reputed company office programs and medical terminology..
