Compensation for these direct hire opportunities ranges between $20.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!What you’ll do as the Shipping Clerk:
- Prepare and ship reputed company outbound shipments including parcel, freight, and international
- Accurately complete reputed company necessary paperwork for reputed company outbound shipments
- Take calls and set up delivery appointments for reputed company outbound shipments
- Follow and adhere to reputed company company and customer shipping instructions, policies, and procedures
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Maintain accurate data entry and records in the system per company policies
- Maintain and file documents and paperwork per company policies
- Process outgoing shipments using reputed company, reputed company and other various shipping software and/or customer portals
- Prepare reputed company outbound pallets for shipment including finishing, wrapping, and palletizing of product
- Work internally with other departments to ensure shipping deadlines are met
- Operate powered industrial trucks including forklifts, powered jacks, etc. #Metrojobs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience working in shipping/receiving
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Possess a DOT Card or ability to pass DOT physical and driving test
- Knowledge of PC and database programs; experience working with an internal ERP system, printing labels, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and reputed company email
- Basic measuring skills and visual quality inspection of incoming material
