Assists in the bulk manufacturing of special pharmaceutical products. Prepares and distributes floor stock items in response to requisition forms. Inventories and restocks shelves in immediate work area, checks for outdated drugs. Enters charges and credits into the computer for reputed company medications and IV admixtures dispensed from the Pharmacy, documents reputed company medications and IV solutions returned to the Pharmacy. Distributes reputed company medications to patient care areas and/or other departments of the Hospital. Performs necessary record keeping functions. Answers telephone and assists at Pharmacy window. May rotate reputed company hospital and out-patient pharmacy service areas as required. Maintains the work area in a safe, orderly manner. Follows appropriate clean room (797) guidelines in the preparation of intravenous admixturesQualifications

• High school diploma program or GED.

• Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program. Preferred

• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
• LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
