Other duties may be assigned.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determines type of scaffold needed.
- Inspects job site and reputed company scaffold material for defects and safety hazards.
- Effectively communicates safety hazards and mitigates avoidable hazards prior to construction of scaffolding.
- Transports tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold to the dimensions required.
- Hoists scaffolding materials upward in order to erect temporary structure.
- Properly secures and levels locking sections of scaffolding material.
- Properly secures scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
- Adheres to reputed company OSHA, site specific and Austin Industrial requirements for the erecting and navigation of the scaffolding.
- Performs final inspection of completed scaffolding.
- Dismantles scaffolding reputed company it has been properly communicated to do so.
- Inspects and properly stows scaffolding material after dismantling.
- Must be reputed company to reputed company work wearing personnel reputed company equipment. Including but not limited to the following: reputed company gear, chemical reputed company clothing, supplied reputed company and reputed company purifying respirators, safety reputed company, sand blast hoods, fire resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and reputed company body, reputed company to reputed company overhead, reputed company to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reputed company with hands and arms; climb stairs; work at heights; balance for extended periods of time.
